Obituary for Thomas Milton Evans

Thomas Milton Evans was born January 28, 1936 to Thomas Evans and Clara Banks in Lynchburg, VA. He departed this life June 24, 2019.

Thomas attended Lynchburg County Schools. At an early age, Thomas joined the United States Army. After receiving an honorable discharge, he sought employment at the United States Postal Service as a Supervisor. He retired after many years of service.

Thomas enjoyed the outdoor sports which included, fishing and attending baseball and softball games. In his past-time, he empire baseball and softball games for many years. He also enjoyed reading, playing pinochle, watching sports, and talk shows on television.

Thomas leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife of twenty-five years, Vivian Lee Evans; daughter, Tiffany L. Evans of Raleigh; two step-daughters, Toni Harris (Charlie) of Wendell and Tammy Shubrick (Benny) of Raleigh; previous marriage: daughter, Tanya Johnson of Connecticut; two sons, Mark Evans (Lisa) of Raleigh and Daryl Evans (Kim) of Kernersville; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
