Lillie Mae Taylor Johnson Walker received her wings on Friday, February 22, 2019. Lillie Mae was born in Holy Springs, NC on July 23, 1935, to the late Nathaniel Taylor and Evangelist Pauline Taylor-Harris.

Lillie Mae was educated in the Wake County Public School System. She moved to Raleigh in the early 50’s and married the late William Johnson and to that union nine beautiful children were born. She later married the late Elder Robert Walker.

She was a faithful and active member in the church, and served as President of the Flower Committee, and a member of the Usher Board and First Aid. She also served as Treasurer of Truevine Assembly of Pentecostal Churches, Inc. and the Eastern District Union. She was a faithful supporter for the Pastor and all organizations in the church.

Lillie Mae was a talented seamstress who used her skills to make choir robes, usher uniforms, and decorated the church for all occasions. She was a childcare provider for not only her grandkids but numerous children in the church and neighborhood.
